The financial newsroom of TV channel Nelonen, part of SWelcom, launched a two-week mobile news trial on November 13. The news will be available for download on weekdays immediately after 6 p.m. at the end of trading on the Helsinki Exchanges. The news will be provided by Nelonen's editorial staff and aired two hours before the televised news.
The trial is Finland’s first TV service created especially for mobile terminals. The service, which can be accessed using a Nokia 9210 Communicator, is free of charge except for the transfer payment charged by the operator. No registration is needed.
