West Wing was awarded with the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy as well as Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series.
The Sopranos got four Emmy Awards in the drama series category: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) and Edie Falco (Carmela Soprano) were awarded for the third time the Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress. Joe Pantoliano (Ralph Cifaretto) got his first Emmy as the Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series and The Sopranos was also awarded for its writing.
Tyne Daly’s (Maxine Gray) Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series was Judging Amy’s first Emmy Award.
Everybody Loves Raymond was awarded for the first time as the Outstanding Comedy Series. Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series was awarded for the second time to Brad Garrett (Robert Barone) and Doris Roberts (Marie Barone) was the Outstanding Supporting Actress for the third time already. The series was also awarded for its writing and sound mixing, which was given already on the 13 September in the Creatice Arts Award event.
Also Alias was rewarded with the Creative Arts Awards. Alias got its Emmy’s for make-up and stunt coordination.
