SanomaWSOY Applies for Listing of the 2001B Warrants on the Main List of the Helsinki Stock Exchange

SanomaWSOY Corporation applies for listing of the 2001B warrants on the main list of the Helsinki Stock Exchange as of 1 November 2005.

The total number of 2001B warrants is 1,112,100. Each 2001B warrant entitles its holder to subscribe for one (1) SanomaWSOY Corporation Series B share. In total, the 2001B warrants entitle holders to subscribe for 1,112,100 Series B shares. The present share subscription price with 2001B warrants is EUR 9.30 per share. The annual dividend will be deducted from the subscription price.

The share subscription period for 2001B warrants will begin on 1 November 2005 and end on 30 November 2008.

SanomaWSOY announced the Warrant Scheme 2001 on 31 January 2002.
