Martti Yrjö-Koskinen (DI, CEFA) has been appointed Vice President, head of Group Investor Relations as of 5 October 2011. Yrjö-Koskinen reports to the Group CFO Kim Ignatius.
"I am very pleased to get a highly competent professional to take care of the Group Investor Relations. I am sure that his vast experience will help us to further strengthen investor relations as a strategic function," comments Kim Ignatius.
During the past year, Yrjö-Koskinen has been working with establishing and positioning start-ups mainly within media and telecommunications. Prior to that, he has worked at TeliaSonera, as a member of the Eurasia business area management team and the Group Communications management team (2008-2010) and head of the Group IR (2005-2008). Before that, Yrjö-Koskinen held several positions in TeliaSonera's corporate finance, treasury and M&A (1999-2005).
