Annelies Balistreri (1973) has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Sanoma Learning, as of January 1, 2013. Annelies has been working in the HR department of Sara Lee for over 12 years.
In those 12 years, Annelies held different roles of growing responsibility from HR Officer to Senior HR Business Partner to Senior HR Manager. She was the senior manager for organisational development in The Netherlands, but was also responsible for restructuring HR Services. Annelies holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen.
Annelies will take over as CHRO from Mark Marseille, who has been appointed as Vice President Group HR Operations at Sanoma Group. Annelies has a proven track record introducing and implementing human resources policies and processes within an international business environment. With her strong knowledge of key human resources processes, roles and responsibilities, she will be a great asset to Sanoma Learning’s management board.
